1 of the WORST NITE SHIFTS EVER!!
Argghh!! Finalli finished my nite shift on Tuesday Morn... Had 2 do 4 nites... 1 more nite than i usualli do... Had 2 cover Vanessa aka Aishah (her muslim name) since she was out 4 her CPR re-cert... I wanted tat k... Coz mine dyin... Told "Kakak" I'll haf 2 quit my job if i don't get re-cert soon... Wakaka!! Nonsense or wat... Anywayz, those 4 nitez crapz or wat?!! K la... My colleague was tellin me 2 bcareful coz the "Hell Gates" R open... Chinese Ghost Festival mahz...
1st nite - Usualli bz as usual coz got lotsa toppin up 2 do... Oh ya... All 4 nites got @ least 1 admission k.. Crapz!! 1st nite admit tat stupid 9/2... So FISH man... I nearly strangulated her k... Tell her sons 2 get the hell out of the room don 1... Don noe how many million times la i tell... SHIT HEADS!! Man am I gettin veri vulgar or WAT??!! Muz B coz of Xin... I SLAP U then U noe k... Wakaka!! Then, kept complainin tat she's in pain... Wanna insert the NG tube don 1... Luckily Lia force it in on her... Need 2 decompress her stomach pe... 2pid!! Then, gaf jab oreli still complainin of pain... Realli testin my patience la... Every 5 mins press the call bell... Realli need 2 meet the creator of the call bell @ the Dark Alley 1 day... Tat person is DOOM!! We cannot do anythin pe... The HELL!! Ok... Tat ends till the next shift took over...
2nd nite - Somethin interestin happens... My collague decided 2 call Mac Donalds... U might b tinkin... WTH!! tokin bought food lak... Found out when passin over 2 the next shift tat some pple pantang cannot eat Mac durin nite shift... Well, previously don haf such thing la 4 me... It's juz coincidence.... Well, my patient in 10/2 complaint of rigours (Mcm her whole body shakin la...) n tightness in the chest... Check all the stats ok... Normal... Oxygen level oso normal... Inform doc, said 2 monitor... Actualli, she complain durin the previous nite but since everythin ok, doc juz ordered 4 the usual... Which i don tink i should explain... Aniwaez, left the last test due @ 0400hrs... Still shakin... Gaf her oxygen 2 alley her anxiety... Tried 2 take her bloods but failed... Inform doc... Suddenly, after Imel help her wid goin 2 toilet, she complain she cannot see... Checked her pupil size, size 2... She's alert la except tat she cannot see... She panicked!! Includin her sons... Prior 2 tat, she told Lia n Imel tat Jesus is punishin her... I was WTH?!! Didn't tink much la... Coz tot she's hallucinating... Then, alerted the Doc... Doc pun SELO... Bingitz or wat??!! Pls la... 0600 bloods i help 2 take k... Then, when the Docs tried takin her bloods, she started 2 vomit... After the vomitting, everythin ok... Suddenly, she kena fits... She accidentalli bite her tongue so, was foamin blood-stained la... I was WTH??!! Shit ar!! Then, we had 2 restrain her since she's gettin restless... I dunnoe wat 2 do... Lotsa doc came over 2 help since nearly day break... Eventualli when she was ok, we had 2 arrange 4 CT Brain... By then, my team n I was oreli veri tired... Had 2 push over 2 the next shift... Haiz... At the end of tat shift, i realise, mcm EXORCIST like tat... Wakaka!! So BaD!! Admit 1 case... Luckily case was nice...
3rd Nite - Startin was nice... Had 2 admit 1 case... Easy case la... Sent tat 2pid 9/2 4 E-op since she cannot tahan anymore... Everythin was fine when Rm 2 daughter came out sayin tat patient is shiverin... Check no temp... Mayb sepsis (internal infection) liao... Then every 5 mins disturb me la... Doc don 1 2 come... Wat can i do rite??!! My colleague tink tat the "Ghost" had shifted rooms n i was like... Pls la... Anyway tat guy turned bad... Had 2 send 2 ICA when nearly passin over tiome... The staff there was DAMN TUT la... Luckily Jing was there wid me... If not, I might haf beaten tat staff up... Violent dok.... Mcm she's the bez juz bcoz she werk in ICA after graduation pls la... She's juz bein plain lucky k... Went hm exhausted... Tat's goin hm 2days straight in a can k... Gettin a hole in my pocket...
4th Nite - HEAVEN!! BLISS!! Like "REAL"!! Tat was it!! I tolerated 9/2 n her 2pid antics... Now her hubby... My colleague (Vanessa permanent nite partner) entertained 9/2 husband... I show him the irritated look all the time... Mcm i got issues la... Actualli totalli burnt out from the last 3 days... Did i mention i changed my perfume wid the hope tat my nite will b better?? Kinda better la... back 2 story... I was in another station which is @ the other end of the ward since one of my patient is in pain n the medication tat the doc ordered was not supplied yet... I went from station 2 station in hope of "STEALIN" 1 of them... Wakaka... Then, my another colleague told me tat my patient was lookin 4 me... When tat patient saw me, she broke down n cry... Tak ke mangkok!! Then, she said tat 2pid 9/2 hubby was hurlin vulgarities behind the curtains n tat she heard them n she was frightened... She wanted 2 go hm there n then... Wah sey!! Tat's the FINAL la... I called SECURITY... They come n tok 2 patient's hubby... Pls la... Tok onli... Luckily, the ordeal was over after i transfer the cryin patient 2 another room... My day went fine after tat...
