Last week was chaotic... Let's haf a run thru...

22nd Dec - Woken up early in d morn 2 celebrate Mom n Dad's 29th Wedding Anni... Went down 2 Tekka 2 haf breakfast @ d old authentic Komala Villas Restraunt like wat my family used 2 since young... Went 2 Mustafa Centre 4 a "walk" n decided 2 by a Black LG ViewTy so tat i can use it till my HP got repaired... Went home early so tat can get some shut eyes coz doing last nite 4 d yr n since I've not done any nitez 4 d last 4 mths... Mom oso 1 2 cook some potato puree soup 4 aunt (Aunt wasn't in d bez of health - has HCC) since she's oso celebratin her 29th Wedding Anni n d same day... Went down 2 visit her wid d family b4 family send us(Twin Sis n I) off 4 werk... She wasn't lookin gd... Twin sis was tellin me... "I don tink she can survive till tis wkend..." I'm juz worried tat my aunt unable 2 c my cuz gettin married tis wkend... It's her 1st child aniwaez... He breathing was oreli laboured wen we visited her... Sometimes, when u r a nurse n had been in d line 4 quite sometime, der r certain signs n symptoms tat u cannot stop tinkin bout it... 1st nite was ok... Devi was sayin tat I was muz better now... She said last time wen I did nite wid her... I alwaez haf a cramp look on my face... Now I'm even smilin n jokin... Well... I gez I'm oreli gettin used 2 HD n my role... Hee... Gez I'm gettin better each day?? Oh ya... DAMN d 1st half... Guys get veri whiney wen dey r sick... So much 4 high pain threshold!! BS lor!! Kaoz!! Dr. NG was cute... He called my professor juz b coz i easily got d NG tube into d pt 2 decompress d pt's stomach... Up till date, d pt call me professor oso...

23rd Dec - Had difficulty slpin... Kept on tossin n turnin in bed... Nite was kinda bad coz I onli manage 2 sit down d next day @ 0630hrs... 1st thing after passin report, send pt off 4 E-op... Mind u, d chest tube came off while dey r changin d pt in2 d OT gown... Haiyoo... Mcm ER... Pt's BP went down as me n Dr Teo send d pt down... Luckily no need 2 wait in d reception straight away send 2 OT... Prior 2 sendin d pt down, when dey r all gettin d patient readi, another patient from OT came by... Haiyoo... Had 2 settle d veri sick pt... Had 2 settle d new pt... Family some more Argghh!! Irritating... Where got doc update family in d middle of d nite??!! Unless pt veri sick la dey!! Accepted another BGIT followed by an Acute Pancreatitis case luckily staggered time... If not, my job would neva had been finished... Oh ya!! Havin difficulty settin plug 4 tat cute "Ah-ma" n she whack off her plug wen we r not lookin... Kaoz!! It took me 3 attempts n d Doc 4 attempts b4 successful insertion kz... Kaoz!!

24th Dec - Received SMS from cuz (bride) tat aunt wasn't lookin 2 gd... Her uncle n her decided 2 send my aunt off 2 hosp since she's having laboured breathin while uncle was @ werk... Eve of Christmas... Hope tat everythin would b better... But no!! Got 1 senile patient... Haiyoo... His veins r d worse!! He was veri old n deaf on both ears... He kept on shoutin d whole nite... D pt who coz me lotsa trouble on d 1st nite oso cannot tahan him n dey literally fight wid each other verbally n shoutin vulgarities... I dunnoe whether 2 laugh or stop dem from fightin... Wakaka... Some more tat "Ah- Kong" deaf lor... No point shouting... Tried settin plug 3 times... D "Ah-Kong" so cute... He said... " Another time u poke, I'll punch u..." I can't stop laughing coz he realli cute n his hands r oreli in a fist wen I tried settin his plug... D nite doc, she attempted 5 times... Tis time round, veri unsuccessful... Waited 4 d HD MO... Neva appeared @ all despite callin him... COWARD!! Felt bad had 2 pass on 2 d morn shift... But d "Ah-Kong" so cute, wen I poke him 2 check sugar level, he said "Thank You ar Missy!" I was... Dotz!!

25th Dec - Parents was sweet... Picked Twin Sis n I up from werk... Didn't manage 2 visit aunt d nite b4 since kinda bz in d ward... Had breakfast @ d hawker centre opposite Vivo... On d way home, Mom received call from Aunt's younger bro... Aunt doesn't had much time left... Mom broke down... Dad drop us off @ home n speed off back 2 SGH... Ard 0930hrs... I receive call from cuz tat my Aunt had oreli pass on... May Allah Bless her... Parents asked us 2 stay @ hm instead since we didn't haf a gd rest d day b4... Didn't manage 2 attend d funeral... Was unable 2 get any slp still coz my house phone kept on ringing non-stop resulting from concerned relatives n wonderin whether d deceased would b goin home 1st or straight 2 d cemetery from d hospital... Arggh!! Manage 2 onli start slpin @ 1300hrs... Felt veri bad thru out d whole shift... Was uneventful... Manage 2 go by d nite peacefully... Y r we able 2 visit her everyday while she's in d hosp... But y wasn't i able 2 visit her 4 d last time?? Mayb i can't c my cuz face... My mom said Faizal (bro of d bride) look bad... He's been cryin I juz can't look @ him... We grew up 2gether... He's oreli like my younger bro... Tat once jovial guy who had d same intereset as me, now look so fragile n sunken... Brought my cuz inlaw, who's an ID nurse back in Malaysia, ard d ward... She was fascinated wid everythin... Including d Hibirub n Hepa Filter... Hee...

26th Dec - Contemplatin 2 go 4 trainin or not... Coz still in mournin... Faht sms d previous day whether 1 2 go 2 Queensway... Missin M.O.M n wantin 2 c Fir's new hair do, decided 2 go despite not in d bez of moods... I had onli 2 hrs of slp prior 2 tat... My late aunt's face kept on flashing b4 me... I spaced out during most of d conversation... I dunnoe whether it was due 2 fatigue or guilt... Fir bored us wid d ranking system of his platoon... (More interested in NPCC la dey...) Manage 2 drag d gang minus Sally (she's in Malaysia) down 4 training... It was our 5th last training b4 d tournament... Had 2 drag out my butt there... Wasn't in d mood 4 trainin... M.O.M was nice 2 "help" out during trainin... Fir was hyper or wat??!! Haiyoo... BUt dey r superb la... Last time dey all from was it Team 7 or Squad 7 (Street soccer grp which dey formed during Sec Sch days...) Shah is tennis player... Shaf is a soccer player... Faht is a floorball player... Fir is a Rock-climber, Soccer player n National Baseballer...Tat's y dey so hyper... ME!! A non-sports person tryin 2 compete wid 'em... Wah... Die lor!! I gez I "elbowed" Fir while tryin 2 distract him?? Wakaka!! But i gez trainin was better... But den again... My apologies 2 Wildcatz... I wan't in d mood... N most of d time, I tend 2 space out during last trainin... Sori pple... Will try my bez durin d next trainin... 2 Xin, thanks 4 ur comment n tips!! Will take note of 'em... Journey hm was funni wid juz Shah n Fir... Both Shah n me was makin fun of all d exercises Fir was tellin n tryin 2 teach us (he learnt 'em during IPPT) on our way home... My whole body was aching btw...

27th Dec - Attended Cuz's weddin... I was dead against attendin d weddin coz I believe d weddin should not go on... I juz tot tat it's ok 2 go on wid d Akad Nikah "Malay version of ROM" but not d whole buffet thingie d followin day... Every1 is suppose 2 b in mouring remember?? It was realli against my moral ethics I tell u... I was naggin how it was against my moral ethics a d way... But Dad said, mayb, my late aunt 1 it 2 still go on despite her passing on?? But... U've got brains 2 tink don u?? Was not realli in a gd mood d whole day coz was veri upset wid d whole event... But end of d day, was entertained by my nieces n nephew... Namely, d 4 stooges... Akmal, Aishah, Aiman n Alia (Amoi)... Every1 found 'em weird coz dey r purely of chinese blood by dey spk gd malay... Coz their dad is a pure chinese n their mom (my cuz) is a mixed... Dey so cute!! Dey perk up my day... How innocent children can get??

28th Dec - D buffet day... Was realli not in a gd mood... Not enuf slp... Veri upset... My cuz can still smile... Arggh!! WTH!! Everybody was complainin y no music... My dad decided 2 cancel off d whole live band... R dey dumb?? We r in mourning mind u!! Decided 2 juz hid 1 corner... Rather den throwin a long face, might as well entertain my nieces n nephews... Had 2 b in charge of d wedding favours... Haiyoo... Distance aunt was like... "Control d favours... Don gif away ani how..." I was like... It won't finish lor... True enuf, there's another box (3/4 size of a fridge) of favours left... N d favours r DAMN sweet lor... Dey r muffins wid frostings btw... Was on high heels 1 whole day... Leg is aching now...

Tat's all wat I've been up 2 d whole week... D wk is gonna b hectic again... But 2day marks d first day of d new system... Wen home @ 1535hrs sharp... Cool!!

PS: I bought 5 new LBD books 2day!! Those interested can borrow 'em from me, provided I'm done wid 'em... Hee...
